Student of the Month

My little baby got student of the month. I am so excited for her because she has worked so hard. She is the youngest in the class and seems to struggle a little more than the others. She just missed the cut off date for kindergarten by 4 days or so. She did really well in Kindergarten but then started to struggle. When all of her friends are turning 8 she is just turning 7. She is also the smallest and I think she gets discouraged. Her teacher said some very nice things about her and seems to really proud of her...but not as proud as me! Also, I was pouring rain this day. Thats why my hair looks like a wet rat and same has her hood on in one pic.

White Men "Can" Jump

My son loves basketball...I mean LOVES. Randy took the kids to the park the other day and Adam just joins in on a game of basketball. When they came home Randy was so impressed with Adam's playing skills. He said Adam looked like Woody Harrelson in White Men Can't Jump with his backwards hat and his skateboard shoes. Adam has no fear of asking to join in with the adults to play ball. Maybe this is his calling...I just hope he grows to be really tall. If not were sticking with baseball.

Christmas 2009

My family celebrates Christmas Eve at my house. This year was the first year my brother was by himself for Christmas Eve since the divorce and I tried to make it extra special for him and keep his spirit up. Randy surprised us with the Wii and the Wii Fit. The kids were so excited. We all played the Wii after opening gifts and had a blast.
